Did you know that some of the world’s best-known parks were created to offer city residents a peaceful escape from busy urban life?
New York’s Central Park was designed as a green retreat where people could enjoy nature without leaving the city. London’s Hyde Park has an even longer history: before becoming a beloved public park, it was used as a royal hunting ground.
