Atelier of Aromas: We heard you and updated the event

Thank you for your honest feedback after the first launch of Atelier of Aromas!

Please be sure that we see and consider your comments from social media posts and from help requests you send us! We also deeply consider feedback we can use when developing future updates.

With the Atelier of Aromas, you helped us see both the strengths and the pain points of the event. Critical feedback made us take a second look at it and reflect on why it it didn't work out the way we indended.

So, we analyzed your comments, made some changes, and we’re ready to present them! Below is what changed and why it matters.

The big idea

We want Atelier of Aromas to be more dynamic: offering easier progression, more rewarding gameplay, and clear, straightforward mechanics.

What’s changed

1. More free solvent

• Solvent now matures every hour, making the event more dynamic. That means every 6 hours you can collect 6 drops — 4× more than in the previous run! But please note that it still accumulates up to 6 drops.
• More bottles with solvent on the board among other rewards. Keep an eye out for them — claiming solvent from bottles will help you progress faster.
• More solvent in the progress bar: When you claim interim rewards for filling the progress bar, you’ll receive additional solvent drops to keep playing.

2. More secret bottles

We increased the chance to find secret bottles with extra-valuable rewards when using a catalyst. These bottles can contain superbucks, shovels and metal detectors for Treasure Hunt, bombs for Expeditions, pink dice for Neighborhood Stroll Game, rare resources for Islands, and other goodies.

3. More valuable rewards

When you use a catalyst, your odds of getting great rewards are now higher! The increased drop chance applies to seasonal currency, coins for the Countryside Secret Store, expedition energy, and cellar quest energy.

4. More ×2 bonuses in the event shop

Stock up on ×2 bonuses and double solvent drops or any other rewards on the board that matter most to you. A simple action — a noticeable boost.

Pro tip: use the ×2 bonus on the bottle with the most important reward for you on the current board to get twice as much of that resource. And if you apply ×2 to a bottle with solvent, you’ll double the solvent you get and play longer!

The result

We’ve refreshed the board rewards and made reagents easier to obtain so you have more chances to pick the rewards that are genuinely useful to you. Play at your own pace — pop in to calmly collect helpful resources, or clear the whole board while hunting for as many secret bottles as possible. The main thing is that it’s comfortable and fun for you!

Keep in mind

• Every reagent spent brings you closer to the main reward! Using any reagent gives points that fill the progress bar. Once it’s full, you’ll receive the main reward — a unique city sight that brings useful resources.
• You can upgrade the main reward! Keep playing Atelier of Aromas, fill the progress bar again, and you’ll be able to level the prize up to collect even more goodies from it.
• ×2 bonuses are most profitable when used on your most valuable rewards and on solvent drops on the board to speed up your progress and maximize benefits.
