We’re always striving to improve the game, and that means trying new ideas, learning from them, and adjusting when needed. Some time ago, we introduced a new ratings mechanic aimed at making competition more dynamic and giving more clubs a real opportunity to succeed. Since the launch, we’ve been closely monitoring your feedback and reviewing the data.
Why are we making changes?
Let's be clear, the new system didn’t work out as well as we hoped. It didn’t meet your expectations — and ours. We found that some clubs used the new system in ways we hadn't intended, leading to an unfair advantage.
That goes against everything we want expeditions to represent.
Our top priority: Fair Play
Expeditions should be a space for genuine, healthy competition. Fair play is at the heart of our approach, and we want every club to have a fair chance at success.
Your position in the rankings should reflect strategy, teamwork, and dedication —not loopholes.
What we’re doing now
After listening to your feedback and analyzing the situation, we’ve made the following decision:
We’re bringing back the previous, well-known expedition rating system.
We believe this is the right step for now, restoring clarity, fairness, and equal conditions for all clubs.
What’s next?
This rollback doesn’t mean development stops. Returning to the old system isn’t a step backward — it’s a return to solid ground that allows us to keep improving with confidence.
We’ll continue exploring new ideas and testing solutions to create a rating system that is engaging, rewarding for more clubs, and resistant to abuse.
