Treasure Hunt Redesigned
Underwater Hunt: dive deep, snap sea life, and claim rewards!
The fan-favorite treasure adventure returns with a fresh splash! Underwater Hunt is a vivid fresh underwater theme of our classic mode: same satisfying core, brand-new vibe.
This time you’re not digging on the surface; you’re diving beneath the waves, uncovering prizes among corals, and going on a photo safari with ocean creatures.
Dates: November 27 – December 3, 2025

A quick reminder: what's the Treasure Hunt?
In the classic Treasure Hunt, you explore a grid-based field, use tools (shovels and tractors) to open cells, and scoop up the rewards hidden inside. Your primary objective is to unearth the magic key: find it, and you unlock the event’s main reward (a unique city sight).
You can read full event rules here.
But this launch will feature a redesigned Treasure Hunt event. So, what will change and what stays the same?
What stays familiar (quick recap)
- Three tools, same logic. Event tools work the same way as before: You still have one tool for a single cell, one for a 2×2 block (4 cells), and one that scans a 3×3 area to reveal complex cells with larger prizes.
- Two cell types, same rules. There are still 2 types of cells on the game field. Simple cells pay out with one use of a tool; complex cells require two uses to claim their reward.
- Bubble with an item. As before, bonus bubbles can pop up after you open a cell. They’re time-limited! Use your tools quickly to collect them before they disappear.
What’s new (and why it matters)
- A fresh underwater theme. Explore a lively seabed instead of dusty dig sites. The new setting keeps the mode exciting without changing what you already love.
- Tools visually redesigned. In the classic Treasure Hunt, you used shovels and tractors to open cells and metal detectors to spot complex cells with bigger hidden treasures. In the Underwater Hunt, the logic stays the same, but the visual aspect of tools changes:
- Snorkeling mask (like the shovel): opens 1 cell.
- Aqualung (like the tractor): opens a 2×2 block (4 cells).
- Fishfinder (like the metal detector): scans a 3×3 area and highlights complex cells.

- Sea сreature photos = progress. Breaking complex cells now awards a sea creature photo. Each photo pushes your progress bar forward toward milestone rewards.

- Two main rewards, two windows. Underwater Hunt now features one main reward in its own window, while the second main reward moves to Exciting Puzzles. End result: you still have two big prizes to chase, just across two synchronized events.
The game field at a glance
At the start, unrevealed cells are hidden by seaweed.
Work your way across the field by opening simple and complex cells, chasing the key, and scooping up timed bubbles along the way.
As you open simple cells, the seaweed in the respective cell diasppears. When you come across a complex cell, the first use of a tool reveals a sea creature behind the seaweed, while the second use of a tool brings you both a reward and a sea creature photo.

The sea creature photo progress bar & how it links to Exciting Puzzles — step by step
1. Break complex cells → get sea creature photos. Each complex cell you open grants a large reward plus one sea creature photo.

2. Fill the progress bar → hit milestones. Every ssea creature photo advances the progress bar in Underwater Hunt; reaching a milestone instantly grants a prize bundle that always includes puzzle pieces.

3. Accumulate puzzle pieces → spend puzzle pieces. As the Exciting Puzzles event runs at the same time, you can use those pieces right away to uncover the picture there and move toward the main reward. You can spend the puzzle pieces from the Underwater Hunt straight away! Just go to the Exciting Puzzles event and use them to advance to the main reward there.
4. Finish the progress bar + check the event shop → secure the Exciting Puzzles reward. Completing the Underwater Hunt progress bar and purchasing all the puzzle pieces bundles in the event shop provides enough puzzle pieces to obtain the main reward in Exciting Puzzles.
Important for progress!
Photos of sea animals only appear in complex cells. There are exactly 20 of them on each field. To fully fill the progress bar, you need to open 40 complex cells.
Tip: If your goal is to fill the progress bar as quickly as possible, don't move to a new field until all 20 complex cells on the current one have been opened.
Main reward in Underwater Hunt
Main reward: Ihlamur Pavilion
Reward stats: 4200 coins, 1-3 candies/glass baubles every 24 hours

Main reward in Exciting Puzzles
Your puzzle pieces from Underwater Hunt’s milestones help you unlock the main reward in Exciting Puzzles. Play both in parallel: dive for photos and prizes here, assemble your progress there—two adventures feeding into each other.
Main reward: Balancing Rock

Remember: this building is upgradeable! Once you get it, you can continue collecting puzzle pieces to upgrade it in other events. The bigger the upgrade, the more benefit you'll get from it.
Upgrade bonuses by level
Level 1: 20,000 coins, 4000 piastres, 1-2 useful items, 10-15 chefcoins, 3-6 candies/glass baubles every 24 hours
Level 2: 30,000 coins, 4500 piastres, 2-3 useful items, 15-20 chefcoins, 4-6 candies/glass baubles every 20 hours
Level 3: 40,000 coins, 5000 piastres, 2-4 useful items, 25-30 chefcoins, 4-8 candies/glass baubles every 18 hours
Tips for a smooth dive
- Prioritize complex cells when you can: they’re the source of sea creature photos that advance your progress bar (and thus your puzzle pieces).
- Don’t miss the bubbles. When a bubble with an item appears, it’s there only for a limited time. Use your tools strategically to grab these high-value bonuses.
- Plan across both events. Since Underwater Hunt and Exciting Puzzles run together, route your milestone puzzle pieces into Exciting Puzzles as you go.
